Abstract

Abstract. The subject of the study is the human right to a favorable environment in the context of identifying urgent problems of its implementation by citizens of the Russian Federation. Despite the fact that environmental rights are equated with natural human rights, environmental problems have not been resolved at all or are not being resolved in full. The authors thoroughly consider the range
of topical issues that have a negative impact on the effectiveness of the right to a favorable environment implementation in national legislation. Particular attention is paid to the problem connected with the exercising of judicial protection of the right to a favorable environment, regulatory imperfections in the field of environmental information legal relations, noise pollution as an object of environmental offenses, as well as problems associated with the implementation of the right to peace and quiet in human environment. As main conclusions authors propose the enhancement of legal mechanisms for ensuring and protecting human rights to a safe environment in the Russian Federation. The
methodological basis of the study is the use of the formal legal method, analysis and generalization of legal materials.
